Enabling AI to accelerate drug discovery

Emergent technologies like artificial intelligence (AI) herald a new era in drug discovery. Despite substantial investments and remarkable progress, the journey from compound discovery to a market-ready drug remains demanding, typically spanning a decade and costing more than a billion euros. The traditional approach presents significant hurdles and is characterized by exhaustive manual experiments and lengthy validation processes. AI holds the promise to revolutionize this paradigm. By harnessing AI-driven insights, we can expedite the drug discovery pipeline, significantly reducing the time and resources required to bring novel therapeutics to the market.
