Jeroen de Groot

After his studies and fulfilling his Military service Jeroen de Groot joined Philips Electronic Manufacturing Technology in 1997 and fulfilled various positions in Product Management and Business Line management in Eindhoven, Singapore and Hong Kong. Philips EMT (became Assembléon in 2002) develops, builds, sells and services pick and place machines for the electronics manufacturing and back end Semiconductor industry.

Between 2008 and 2011 Jeroen was responsible for the Business Line and D&E organization and defining the new strategic direction for Assembléon that led in 2011 to the sale of the Business Unit to Private Equity. 

Between 2011 and 2016 Jeroen was responsible for the transition of the company into the Back end Semiconductor industry which led to the acquisition by Kulicke & Soffa in 2015. After successful integration Jeroen joined Mutracx, a start up company developing machines for printing etch resist and additive applications for the PCB manufacturing industry.

After spending 20+ years in competitive system OEM businesses Jeroen joined ASML in 2019. He is currently head of BL DUV Product Portfolio Management for Mature markets after spending three years as Product manager for XT:860N and managing the XT product management team.
