Ryan Boas

Ryan Boas is passionate about advancing semiconductor manufacturing through innovative patterning technologies that tackle device scaling, cost, and complexity. As Global Product Manager for Patterning within the Varian Business Unit at Applied Materials, he leads strategy, marketing, and product management for leading-edge patterning solutions including Sculpta®.

With over 20 years of experience spanning strategy, business development, marketing, product development, operations, and management consulting, Ryan brings a multidisciplinary perspective to business and technology leadership.  He previously served as COO of 24M Technologies, built the consulting practice at PHOTON Consulting, and held early career roles in system architecture and engineering at Applied Materials.

Ryan earned a Ph.D. from MIT’s Engineering Systems Division, an MSME from MIT, and a BSME from Clarkson University.

At ITF Semicon USA, Ryan will co-present with Geert Vandenberghe of imec, showcasing real-world pattern shaping use cases for EUV and High-NA EUV lithography.
