Panel: Built to scale: turning deep-tech breakthroughs into global companies

Europe’s competitiveness will not be decided by research excellence alone. It will depend on how effectively countries and ecosystems across Europe connect  AI infrastructure, semiconductor capabilities, investment, technical validation, and venture creation into companies that scale globally.

The fundamental question in deep-tech is: how do breakthroughs become investable, manufacturable, and globally competitive companies? Spain is building many of the right foundations: semiconductor programs, AI infrastructure, deep-tech talent, and a more mature startup ecosystem needed to contribute to this ambition.
