Code of conduct

Why this matters

Our events are built on respect, diversity, inclusion, and sustainability. This Code of conduct ensures that every participant feels welcome, safe, and valued while contributing to a positive experience for all.

Our principles:

  • Equal treatment
Every participant, speaker, and staff member will be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of background, identity, or role.

  • Commitment to sustainability
We are dedicated to integrating environmentally responsible practices throughout all stages of event organization. Key areas of focus include venue selection, catering, sustainable signage, printed materials, and other operational aspects.

  • Safe and welcoming space
Our event is a safe space where everyone should feel welcome and secure. If you require support or immediate assistance, please approach the registration desk directly.

  • Diversity in speakers
We strive for a diverse mix of speakers. While quality and relevance remain our top priorities, we aim to have speakers from different backgrounds, including different nationalities, genders, educational experiences, professional expertise, and career stages.

  • Accessibility and special needs
Attendees can contact the organizing team in advance to share any specific requirements or accommodations. We will do our best to meet these needs.

  • Food allergies and dietary restrictions
We take allergies seriously and will provide clear labelled buffets and options to ensure everyone can enjoy the catering safely.

  • Zero tolerance for harassment
Harassment of any kind (verbal, physical, or online) will not be tolerated. If anyone experiences harassment, they are encouraged to contact the registration desk. The staff will review the situation and work with the event organizer(s) to determine appropriate actions.

  • Respectful communication
Please engage in discussions and networking with professionalism and courtesy.
