From automotive to autonomous : Chiplets as cross industry collaboration fabric

Interoperable chiplets are needed to create cost effective high performance reliable automotive central compute platforms. By driving chiplet interoperability standards, quality and reliability (QnR) frameworks, and reference platform compliance, imec accelerates and de-risks product development across the supply chain. Recognizing that robotics, humanoids, security and other edge HPC applications require the same class of high-performance “brain” compute, imec is establishing a new Autonomous chiplet platform, a reusable, scalable chiplet foundation applicable across automotive, edge HPC, and AI segments.
