Abstract
When two world-renowned institutes join forces, magic happens! Leveraging combined expertise, this collaboration sets out to develop groundbreaking diagnostic devices and improve quality of life. Healthcare remains one of the most significant global socio-economic challenges, particularly as life expectancy increases. Achieving personalized treatment through tailored monitoring of vital signs and biomarkers has proven challenging but essential. Recent progress in semiconductor technology has brought us closer to this objective. When combining nanoelectronics-based, minimally- to non-invasive diagnostic devices with AI, these data enable the creation of an individual’s digital biological profile that can facilitate detailed clinical monitoring.
This talk will focus on the combination of advanced photoacoustic technology, integrated photonics, and computational analysis for precise and non-invasive monitoring of vascular analytes and blood flow. This solution is poised to provide clinicians with a more powerful tool for effective risk assessment, triaging, and clinical decision-making.
