Johny Srouji

Johny Srouji serves as SVP of Hardware Technologies at Apple, reporting to CEO Tim Cook. Johny has built one of the world’s strongest and most innovative technology teams. The team has a strong track record of leading breakthrough custom technologies, including Apple silicon, cellular, cameras, sensors, displays, storage controllers, batteries and other critical technologies across Apple’s entire product line.

Johny joined Apple in 2008 to lead development of A4, the first Apple-designed system on a chip. Under his leadership Apple silicon has expanded to power all of Apple’s main product categories, including iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, Vision Pro, and AirPods. Apple has consistently pushed the envelope of custom silicon, and developed an intense focus on performance per watt without sacrificing features and performance. Through its highly scalable SoC architecture with unified memory, and using advanced semiconductor technologies, Apple silicon covers the gamut of power-efficient performance for wearables all the way up to high end desktop computers, while delivering world-class differentiation for Apple products.

Prior to Apple, Johny held senior positions at Intel and IBM in the area of processor development and design. He earned both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Computer Science from Technion, Israel’s Institute of Technology.
