Laurent Vancaillie

I am enthusiastic about technology and the new horizons it opens. I like coordinating and leading teams, creating value together.

After my engineering degree in microelectronics and telecommunications, I went through several positions ranging from research (Ph.D.) and product development to international business development and CEO of an SME. I had the possibility to work internationally and in organizations of different sizes from university spin-off to large multinational companies.

I am currently Senior Venture Development Manager at imec. We facilitate and coach the venture creation journey, from idea to financing and spin-off. Our team cumulates deep-tech, business and start-up experience.
